Crazy temps yesterday and looking like similar for today! So much fun closing our our CT Spring season with the CT Draft Horse Rescue group. We got just a wee bit of a breeze high on the hill. Hot, hot, hot 😅 when we got back into the truck. Finished the day with burgers in Blue, had the heat might just as well use it. Packing day today!! Be well all!

Small 🌎, really. Tonight I served this pizza to Kimberly and John. When I had a spare moment and was making my “rounds” I asked how they liked their pizza. Kimberly commented how she loved the crust and asked if it was whole wheat. I said yes and went on to say it’s sifted whole wheat and spelt made by The Good Crust. Kimberly said, oh we love spelt, the dough reminded us of a little place in Maine where we had a similar tasting pizza. Where I asked? She responded “Sedgwick.” I said I was in Sedgwick last Summer at Strong Brewing making pizza. 😂 OMG it was yours, we had it a couple of times and loved it. Come to find out John’s Dad grew up in Sargentville and John Summered in Deer Isle walking distance from our home. I told them I’d be slinging pies in Stonington, Deer Isle, Blue Hill, and Brooklin this Summer and Kimberly said they’d find us. You just never, ever know what a cloudy, drizzly Spring Friday May bring. So glad they stopped and made our evening.🥰 A double treat, serving them in CT and ME.
